Velvety Avocado Chocolate Peanut Butter Mousse
This rich vegan chocolate mousse is super easy to make, and absolutely divine. Thank you to California-based belly dancer Cera Byer for sharing the ingredients of this recipe! Cera is featured in episode #39 of the podcast A Little Lighter.
A tasty tinier dessert for 2-3 people
- 1 ripe avocado (the flesh inside without the pit)
- 1 Tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 Tbsp agave
- 1 Tbsp peanut butter
- 1/2 a banana
- Optional: a dash of cinnamon and coconut cream on top
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Eat immediately or refrigerate for 1 hour or more before serving.
Tip: Instead of cleaning the blender with water, add oat milk, hemp milk or almond milk to the blender after you scoop out the mousse and make yourself a little vegan chocolate peanut butter milkshake!
